The high energy content will help your puppy grow into a strong, active adult dog and the right balance of calcium, phosphorus and essential vitamins will support normal bone development for growing puppy. The energy-rich puppy food also promotes maternal milk production, making it ideal for nursing dogs. Feeding can be started as early as the second trimester of pregnancy by adding puppy food to the mother's normal diet. Towards the end of pregnancy, puppy food can replace the mother's normal food completely.
Mothers and puppies need meaty food in their food bowl, which is why the first and most important ingredient in PrimaDog products is always meat. The source of protein in the food is the delicious and easily digestible chicken. For carbohydrates and fibre we have used potatoes, corn and apples.
